Day 1: Arrive in Cairo & Check into Hotel
Arrive in Cairo and be greeted by our representatives at the airport, who will assist you through Immigration and Customs. Take a peek at the heart of modern Cairo from our luxury bus as it takes you to your hotel.
Visit The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx
Today you will fulfill your lifelong dream of exploring the Great Pyramids at Giza, the only of the seven ancient wonders of the world still in existence. Stand with the massive Sphinx, whose lion body represents the power and strength of the pharaohs.
Day 2: Visit the Step Pyramid and Tour the Grand Museum
Visit the Step Pyramid of Saqqara and Tour the new Grand Museum and see the complete collection of the Golden Boy Kink Tut AnkhAmun
Day 3: Flight to Luxor and Embark the Dahabiya Sailboat.
After breakfast, you will check out and fly to Luxor and board your Luxury Dahabiya Nile Cruise. Lunch on board before setting out for afternoon tours of Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank of the Nile.
During the New Kingdom, the most powerful period of Egyptian history, Luxor was the capital of the Egyptian empire, with Luxor Temple as the power base of the living divine king. Karnak Temple was mythological base for the cult of Amun-Re, the Supreme god of all their deities.
Overnight In Luxor
Day 4: Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut Hot Air Balloon (optional)
Early morning pickup, Hot Air Balloon for Sunrise over the Valley of the Kings. Bring your camera! Magnificat photos of sunrise over the Nile River Vally and all the temples.
Valley of the Kings including the visit of the famous tomb of the boy King Tutankhamun and 2 other tombs. Admire the Colossi of Memnon, and tour the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharoah of Egypt.
Return To the Dahabiya, lunch and set sailing.
Enjoy the sunset and coastal life to English Tea, cake and coffee.
Day 5: Edfu Temple Tour
Wake up for breakfast while your Dahabiya Nile Cruise completes its traverse to the city of Edfu. There you will visit the legendary Temple of Horus, Egypt’s most well-preserved temple.
Lunch on board and set sail. To Kom Ombo Enjoy the afternoon cruising on the river, watching the local fisherman and the farmers on the banks of the life-giving Nile waters.
Day 6: Tour Kom Ombo, Tour Temple of God Sobek, the crocodile god
Celebrate the evening in the style of the Egyptians, with a buffet Egyptian cuisine followed by a traditional Galabia party.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day 7: Philae Temple, Unfinished Obelisk, and the High Dam
Visit the famous High Dam, followed by a visit to the ancient granite quarry to see the unique Unfinished Obelisk. Then take a motorboat ride to find the “pearl of Egypt”, the Philae Temple strikingly set upon Agilka Island.
Day 8: The Great Temples of Abu Simbel / Over Night in Cairo
Early morning wake up with Coffee and Tea will be served early. Breakfast box to take early short flight from Aswan to Abu Simbel
The magnificent temples of Abu Simbel are the site of the Great Rock Temples of King Ramses II, the longest ruling pharaoh with his stunning chariot victory scenes. This temple is the only one in Egypt actually carved out of the rock. Its façade is one of the best-known images of Egypt, along with the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.
Day 9: Fly back to Cairo via Aswan, stay at the Meridien Cairo Airport Hotel to catch your international Flight.
