Day 1: Arrival in Cairo – The Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx

Day 2: Full day tour to Memphis, Saqqara and The Grand Egyptian Museum

Day 3: Flight to Abu Simbel Via Aswan and Visit Abu Simbel Temple
Morning flight to Abu Simbel via Aswan where you will visit two massive temples carved directly into the sandstone cliffs of southern Egypt.
The facade of the Great Temple is dominated by four seated colossi of Ramses II, over 66 feet high, Inside, the temple walls are carved beautifully depicting Ramses II’s military victories, the Small Temple honors Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor, with statues of the queen equal in size to those of the pharaoh—a rare tribute in ancient Egypt. Flight back to Aswan and check into the hotel.
Day 4: Tour Philae Temple, The High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk

Day 5: Visit Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples

Karnak is the largest temple complex ever constructed in the ancient world, covering over 200 acres on the east bank of the Nile in Luxor. Built and expanded over nearly 2,000 years, Karnak served as the spiritual center of ancient Thebes and was dedicated primarily to the god Amun-Ra, along with Mut and Khonsu. Its vast scale includes monumental pylons, towering obelisks, the impressive Hypostyle Hall with 134 massive columns, and a sacred lake.
Opet Festival
The Opet Festival was one of the most important annual religious celebrations in ancient Egypt.
During this festival, priests and citizens would process along the Avenue of Sphinxes, which connects Karnak and Luxor temples. The sacred statues of the gods were carried from Karnak to Luxor Temple, symbolizing the rejuvenation of the king’s divine power and the renewal of harmony between the gods and the people. The festival featured music, dancing, offerings, and elaborate rituals, reinforcing the connection between the pharaoh, the gods, and the city of Thebes.
Day 7: Visit the Vally of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple and the Colossi of Memnon.
The Valley of the Kings is home to the burial sites of Egypt’s greatest pharaohs, including the famous tomb of Tutankhamun. Many tombs are carved deep into the limestone hills, hidden from view and protected for millennia.
