Day 1

Arrive in Cairo, hotel checkin, The Great Pyramids Tour

Arrive in Cairo and be greeted by our representatives at the airport, who will assist you through Immigration and Customs. Take a peek at the heart of modern Cairo from our luxury bus during your transfer to you the Hyatt Regency Cairo West overlooking the pyramids.

The Great Pyramids

Today you will fulfill your lifelong dream to explore the Great Pyramids at Giza, the only of the seven ancient wonders of the world still in existence. Stand with the massive Sphinx, whose lion body represents the power and strength of the pharaohs.

Day 2

Sakkara, Memphis and The Grand Egyptian Museum

Dating back to 3100 B.C and founded by the first Egyptian King Djoser as the capital of the early Dynastic period, Memphis and its necropolis has been listed as a UNESCO site since 1979. The Step Pyramid of Sakkara is one of a kind, and a lesser traveled Site. At the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum find a stunning collection of ancient historical artifacts including the famous Mummies Gallery, housing the mummies of 22 pharoahs.

Day 3

Flight to Abu Simbel, Flight to Aswan, Visit the High Dam and embark the luxury Dahabiya Nile Cruise

An early flight to the magnificent temples of Abu Simbel, the site of the Great Rock Temples of King Ramses II, the longest ruling pharaoh. Unique from the other temples of Egypt, they Abu Simbel temples are carved rather than constructed, and feature the fabulous battle scenes of Ramses riding his chariot. Its façade is one of the best-known images of Egypt, along with the Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza. Flight to Aswan, with a stop on the High Dam, an engineering marvel of the modern Egypt and the which created Lake Nasser, the largest man made lake in the world.

Day 4

Start Your Nile Journey, Visit Philae Temple, Kom Ombo Temple

Take a motorboat ride to find the “pearl of Egypt”, Philae Temple strikingly set upon Agilka Island. Visit to the Unfinished Obelisk still in the ancient granite quarry. On board the Dahabiya, start sailing to Kom Omb and tour the Temple of God Sobek, the crocodile god. From the deck, enjoy the striking view of Kom Ombo Temple as the Dahabiya approaches this ancient temple overlooking the river.

Day 5

Edfu Temple Tour

Wakeup to breakfast as your Dahabiya completes its journey to the city of Edfu. There you will visit the legendary Temple of Horus, Egypt’s most well-preserved temple. Lunch on board and set sail. Enjoy the afternoon cruising on the river, watching the local fisherman and the farmers on the banks of the life-giving Nile waters. Celebrate the evening in the style of the Egyptians, with a buffet Egyptian cuisine. followed by a traditional Galabia party.

Day 6

Arrive to Luxor, Visit Karnak and Luxor temples on the East Bank of the Nile

During the New Kingdom, the most powerful period of Egyptian history, Luxor was the capital of the Egyptian empire with Luxor Temple as the power base of the living divine king. Karnak Temple was mythological base for the cult of Amun-Re, the Supreme god of all their deities. Return to the Dahabiya and dinner on board.  Stay overnight In Luxor.

Day 9

Hot Air Balloon (optional), West Bank tour of the Valley of the Kings, Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, and Colossi of Memnon

Early morning pick up for transfer to Hot Air Balloon for Sunrise over the Valley of the Kings. Bring your cameras!!! Valley of the Kings tours will include the famous tomb of the child King Tutankhamun. Admire the Colossi of Memnon, and tour the Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only female Pharoah of Egypt.
