Our Story
Egypt Explorations was inspired by the love of Egypt and passion for its wonderful history. Company founder and director, Ehab Yostos, was educated in his country as an Egyptologist and for more than 10 years worked with major British tourism companies. During this time, he facilitated the travel of western tourists as their host, and as their guide opened the cultural and historical wealth of his country to their experience.
In 2005, he immigrated to America to join his wife, a doctor at Yale University. However, he could not set aside his drive to share his love of Egypt with others. He found also among Americans a common dream to see the pyramids during their lifetime. To enable them to fulfill this dream in luxury and safety, Egypt Explorations has partnered with the largest tourism company in Egypt. Drawing upon his experience in the industry, Ehab has personally chosen the best of Egypt and incorporated them into Our Tours. His personal expertise has also created an unusual ability of Egypt Explorations to develop Specialty and Custom Tours to meet specific desires of individual and group travelers.
